Just watching Lord of the rings, and decided to make a pixel art pic of Gollum. this is my second ever attempt at pixel art, so tips for improvement would be appreciated :) The original size is 150x143 pixels

As far as pixel art goes this is pretty awesome. I think that building a sense of depth through pixel art has to be pretty hard and you did it very well. I kinda wish there was more going on but this is fine as is. I think some color variation would be awesome. Right now it's very mono chromatic. I think more value in the background would be nice instead of just 2 flat colors. I really like that you used a full range of values. Another thing I also think some more detail on the character wouldn't hurt.

A very interesting piece as I have never heard of pixel art before. When looking at it in your gallery it really looks like Gollum sitting in his cave. But now, it has no form, not really. I do not know how to describe it. The green diffuse points first hit my eyes. You cannot make them out so much when looking at it in your gallery.

Sorry, I know that I am talking nonsense - but it is really strange to me and that is why I faved it :)
